Today, Tuesday 8 June 2010, at 12:00 o’clock, a meeting of the
Board of Trustees of the Fundación General CSIC was held at the head offices of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC).
During the meeting, which was chaired by the president of the Fundación General CSIC, Rafael Rodrigo,
and attended by the representatives of the institutions that comprise the Foundation’s trustees,
the 2009 Activity Report was presented and the annual accounts for the same year approved.
The director of the Foundation, Javier Rey, also reported to the trustees on the state of execution of
the 2010 Action Plan.
The Fundación General CSIC was constituted in 2008 in order to promote the participation of the
private sector in the funding of public research. Its board of trustees comprises
the Agencia Estatal CSIC, Banco Santander, Fundación BBVA, la Caixa, Fundación Ramón Areces, Cajasol and Kutxa.
